The National Association of Disc JockeysThe National Association of Disc Jockeys is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to assisting all Disc Jockeys, be they mobile Djs, Karaoke Djs, or club and pub Djs, in their pursuit of excellence.

The NADJ is run by DJs for the benefit of DJs and their clients. They aim to promote the benefits of using professional Djs to clients who may be looking to hire the services of these extremely versatile, and often undervalued, entertainers. NADJ can be contacted via their web site at www.nadj.org.uk or by calling 0845 430 3044.

What does the NADJ represent?

NADJ represents, supports and encourages the sharing of expertise, professionalism and good practice.

Their aim is to promote the Art and professionalism of their members. Their code of conduct requires members to operate lawfully and to compete for business within strict ethical guidelines. They exist to inform, educate and help improve the performance of their members' in their chosen profession.

Why should prospective clients book a NADJ member?

Booking a reliable Disc Jockey is a very important decision for the success of your party. Selecting a Disc Jockey who is an active member of the National Association of Disc Jockeys will provide you with the confidence that you have selected a trained professional. NADJ members are more likely to be involved with other Disc Jockey's who can help them out with an unexpected situation.

All NADJ members are required to have all of their equipment regularly inspected and tested in accordance with current health and safety legislation. Proof of Portable Appliance Testing, [PAT] certification is a requirement of membership, as is the provision of Public Liability Insurance. [PLI]

A full-service disc jockey company will normally invest 12 to 30 hours in your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for "4 hours performance time". Consultations, music purchasing & editing, preparation, set-up and tear-down, education and other business related endeavors add up to the overall success of your special occasion. Although equipment failure is rare, do you really want your special occasion ruined because your Disc Jockey did not come prepared?

It is also important to know if your Disc Jockey has a back-up plan in case of illness or an accident. Members of the NADJ have many resources available to them in case of an emergency. You may also reach our Hotline number to get a Disc Jockey when you have an emergency.

The Low Call number is 0845 430 3044

In a nutshell, engaging the services of a NADJ member will provide peace of mind for the client.

You can rest assured that they will provide a competent, professional and reliable service which will contribute to the success of your event or party.
